AKT-ZENT  - The Research Centre of the Theatre Education & Training Committee of the International Theatre Institute / UNESCO

After an exploration phase of two years with the pilot-project “from cliché in art to the art of cliché” with 120 participants (actors, directors, pedagogues) of 25 nationalities, AKT-ZENT was designated Research Centre of TECOM during the XXXI. ITI/UNESCO World Congress in Manila in 2006.

One focus of the work for the next years is the development and implementation of educational programmes in the sense of true exchange of knowledge, traditions, cultural heritage for Africa (in collaboration with ITI Burkina Faso, Togo a.o.) and Asia (in collaboration with ITI Bangladesh a.o.) It consists of work-modules for primary training, for continuous training, programmes for training of trainers.

The Research Centre proposes open demonstration and discussion on theatre education and rehearsal methods to all interested national ITI Centres:

AKT-ZENT - Le Centre de Recherche du Comité  de l’éducation et de la formation théâtrale de l'Institut International du Théâtre / UNESCO

Suite à une phase exploratoire de deux ans, avec le projet pilote “du cliché dans l’art à l’art du cliché”, qui a réuni 120 participants (acteurs, metteurs en scène, pédagogues) de 25 nationalités, AKT-ZENT a été nommé Centre de Recherches du TECOM au cours du XXXIème Congrès de l’IIT à Manille, en 2006.

Une des orientations envisagées pour les prochaines années est le développement et la mise en place de programmes éducatifs – c’est à dire d’un véritable échange de connaissances, de traditions  et de patrimoine culturel -  dans les régions d’Afrique (en collaboration avec l’IIT Burkina Faso et du Togo) et d’Asie (en collaboration avec l’IIT Bangladesh). Il s’agira de modules de travail de formation principale, de formation continue et de formation pour formateurs.

Le Centre de Recherche propose à tous les Centres nationaux de l’IIT des démonstrations et des débats ouverts sur l’éducation théâtrale et les techniques de répétition :
